Denon Professional has introduced a series of solid state players targeted at the sound contractor and AV integrator markets. The DN-F300 is the first in the series and is pitched as a replacement for carousel CD players in BGM applications.
The DN-F300 provides playback of MP3 and uncompressed .WAV music libraries stored on SD and SDHC flashcards (up to 32GB), portable USB flash drives, and self powered HDDs. The compact 1U/HE rackmount player offers technology and features derived directly from Denon Professional's leading broadcast CD players, in providing dedicated hardware control for the navigation, management and programmable play of digital music files for BGM and other applications in bars, restaurants, clubs, retail complexes, visitor attractions, houses of worship, and fitness centres.
The unit's master level control, headphone jack with level control, and two mic inputs - with discrete level controls and automatic audio ducking for paging and public announcements - negate the requirement for a separate rackmixer.
