Audinate has announced the immediate release of its Dante analogue output module.
Designed to allow manufacturers to easily develop Dante endpoints, the module has a small form factor PCB for use in various small footprint enclosures.
The Dante Analogue Output Module supports one RJ45 Dante input, and one or two balanced analogue outputs. It can receive audio channels from a Dante network to provide low-latency audio via balanced output connectors to analogue audio equipment.
Any audio available on the Dante network can be routed via the outputs to an amplifier, powered speaker, mixing console, digital signal processor (DSP), or other analogue audio device. Adapters (for can be used to connect to audio equipment without the necessary built-in connectors.
The module features a digital-to-analogue converter, and supports a range of sample rates and bit depth (including 44.1 kHz, 48 kHz (default), and 96 kHz) and Power-over-Ethernet (POE).
