Ateis has announced a new teleconferencing solution, the ECS Teleconference unit, which be demonstrated at Pro Light & Sound.
At the heart of the system is a digital signal processor using Dynamic automatic echo cancellation. This is based on a wideband acoustic echo cancelling algorithm developed by Ateis’s R&D department.
The new algorithm enables the ECS to produce natural sounding duplex speech with a bandwidth of 20Hz to 27kHz. This offers particular advantages during conversations which involve a large number of people.
The rage currently includes eight units, which provide a range of tools for teleconferences. The system features integrated compressor-limiters, equalisation, matrixes and delay capability, augmented by configurable routers and DSP.
The ECS system will be on display on Stand C18 in hall 8.0 at Pro Light & Sound.
