ROE Visual pulls out of Prolight + Sound 2020 amid Coronavirus fears
ROE Visual has confirmed that it will not be attending Prolight + Sound on the revised dates of the show, following its postponement due to concerns surrounding the so-called ‘Coronavirus’.

In a statement, ROE Visual confirmed that it will organise training and a seminar programme in place of the show.

The statement said: “We apologise for any disappointment or inconvenience caused by this decision. The ROE Visual EU team is working hard to organize alternative plans. These will include in-house product presentations, open-house meetings and seminar days organized around specific topics. All small-scale events which rule out any added risks for all involved. We want to create the opportunity for all our clients to get up-to-date product information and to be presented with our latest product launches. Furthermore, we specifically invite AV technicians to update their skills and knowledge in the ROE Academy”.

Prolight +Sound 2020 was postponed from its original March date to the 26-29 May due to fears surrounding the spread of the novel Covid-19 coronavirus, with several high profile attendees pulling out of the show entirely including Adam Hall, Yamaha, Nexod&b Audiotechnik and Adamson.

Prolight + Sound 2020 is set to run from 26-29 May 2020 at the Messe Frankfurt, Frankfurt, Germany.
