Projectiondesign gets a boost in the oil and energy industries as control room furniture specialist, Suveren Rørmøbelfabrikk shows off its FR12 Remote Light Source projector at a large and prestigious energy show.
Offshore Northern Seas (ONS) in Stavanger, Norway, this week will see the FR12 integrated with Suveren’s ErgoDesk Multifunctional Industrial Workstation (MIW).
The FR12 projector relocates the lamps from the projector to a rack-mount enclosure up to 30m away from the projector head. Light from a rack-mounted RLS illuminates the projector head via a Liquid Light Guide (LLG).
The FR12 is integrated within the ErgoDesk MIW for efficient process monitoring.
Terje Bakkeli, director at Suveren Rørmøbelfabrikk, explained: “Unlike other products in the oil and gas market, this console incorporates a super-wide seamless curved screen to enable maximum clarity and readability, while also minimising stress and fatigue to the operator’s neck and shoulders. The innovation at the centre of this console is the FR12 remote light source projectors which promise compact, ruggedised, completely silent and virtually maintenance-free viewing for 24/7 operations directly from our ErgoDesk MIW.”
