InfoComm 2018: Matrox to show AV over IP technologies

Matrox will show Maevex quad 4K enterprise encoders when it exhibits at InfoComm 2018, on stand N1322 at the Las Vegas Convention Centre.

Also on show will be Extio 3 IP KVM extenders, Mura IPX videowall and multiviewer cards and Monarch LCS lecture capture appliances, including the Monarch LCS Radar monitoring application.

The Maevex 6150 quad 4K enterprise encoder will highlight 4K streaming and recording, while the Extio 3 IP KVM extender will demonstrate 4K IP extension and switching at low bitrates. Mura IPX video wall cards will exhibit high-density 4K encoding, decoding, and display on networked display walls and multiviewers. The Monarch LCS encoder appliance and Monarch LCS Radar monitoring application for lecture capture workflows, will also be on display.

Matrox will also deliver an InfoComm presentation titled Networked AV, Remote Monitoring, and Security on June 7, from 12:30-2:00 pm at the Westgate Hotel (Pavilion 10).

The presentation will provide an introduction to some of the fundamental considerations when evaluating networked AV. The session aims to enable attendees to develop a deeper understanding of the most common streaming protocols, identify key performance metrics and monitoring protocols for IT network management and recognise and safeguard against security vulnerabilities created by networked AV equipment.

The company will also join other Secure Reliable Transport (SRT) protocol partners to show multi-vendor camera, encoder, media server, decoder, video wall, and socialcast products all working together using the SRT protocol.
