Nuiteq has announced that its multi-touch product Snowflake Suite is now compatible with Visual Planet’s touch foil.
The technology company has adapted its Snowflake Suite software for single and multi-touch devices to support Visual Planet’s ViP Interactive Touch Foil. With programs in areas of gaming, education, puzzles, music, content viewing and drawing the Snowflake Suite allows users to navigate an interface by touching and running fingers across the screen.
Visual Planet’s touch foils now support Zoom, Pinch and Rotate touch gestures using standard mouse emulations within XP, Vista, and Windows 7 Operating Systems. Nuiteq has customised their content software to take advantage of this enhanced touch functionality.
The dual touch gestures are available across Visual Planet’s standard large format touch foil sizes (30-167”).
Nuiteq is also working closely with Visual Planet to enable their Snowflake application suite to be compatible with Visual Planet’s new True Two Touch (TTT) development expected to be released later this year.
"Visual Planet are delighted that the Nuiteq team has recognised the innovative and exciting developments of the ViP Interactive Foil and supplied such a comprehensive set of applications in a superbly creative and user friendly interface inside Snowflake Suite", said Mike Cole, director of Visual Planet. "The ViP Interactive Foil is readily integrated into a wide variety of display systems in multiple business sectors due to its flexibility and availability in bespoke sizes."
Harry van der Veen, CEO of Nuiteq, said he was happy with the recent partnership agreement. "NUITEQ always has a very strong focus to ensure that its multi-touch software products are compatible with all the hardware touch technology platforms in the industry," he added.
