New multifunctional venue in Warsaw chooses L-Acoustics sound system
TheOne Club in the heart of Warsaw's premier clubbing district on Mazowiecka Street, has installed an L-Acoustics sound system, designed by Sound Experience and supplied by L-Acoustics Certified Provider Audio Plus.

The venue unifys high-end hospitality with a club-caliber audio environment. Under one roof, this space  blends a nightclub, restaurant, cocktail bar, and lounge, each requiring distinct acoustic characteristics yet working together to create a unified brand experience.

The venue's aesthetic, dark wood paneling, luxurious furnishings, diffused atmospheric lighting, and soft minimalist lines, demanded a refined technical approach. The vision was to create a space where an evening can begin with Mediterranean-inspired cuisine and transition effortlessly into a nightlife experience.

Before making any decisions, the owners visited numerous clubs around the world to explore how the greatest nightclub sound systems are created.

Sound Experience mapped the entire design in Soundvision before a single speaker was purchased or a single cable laid, ensuring the venue's most important requirement, adaptable and uniform sound, was met throughout every zone. The teams were supported by system engineers and trainers from L-Acoustics, including Jerzy Kubiak from Audio Plus, who brought specialised expertise to this complex, multifunctional project, delivering a sound experience that is both spacious and intimate.

The main dance floor features two flown arrays of one A15 Wide and one A15 Focus with two KS21 subwoofers per side. Two A10 wide are placed backstage and onstage, while DJ monitoring is handled by groundstacks of two X12 atop two KS21 subwoofers. Four ceiling-mounted X12 serve the rear of the dance floor while under-balcony areas boast seven X6i speakers, two of which belong to the VIP zone.

Five X12 and seven X6i speakers are used for delays, and a lounge area features four X8i and two SB15m subwoofers. The entire system is powered by eight LA4X amplified controllers, providing 32 independent channels.

To ensure the best acoustic experience for any time of day or type of event, three presets were carefully prepared. During the day, "restaurant" mode operates all components at an evenly distributed, low-volume level with a slight boost in the 600-900 Hz and 4 kHz bands, which significantly improves the intelligibility of music at low levels, a suitable configuration for conversational environments.

When the "club" preset is activated, the whole system naturally operates at much higher volume. The low frequencies, already more prominent at higher SPL, no longer need enhancement. The delay zones are slightly reduced in level, while the upper level is significantly louder, ensuring that the energy from the dance floor is felt effectively throughout the entire venue. The tuning has also been refined to achieve the warm sound characteristic of the L-Acoustics system while maintaining the audible details in the music. The third preset is for concerts, which also take place during closed events at the club.
