Neat has appointed Javed Khan as CEO, taking the reins as the company prepares for global, AI-driven expansion.
Khan takes on the role with a track record in delivering AI-driven transformation, signalling the company’s commitment to deeper investments in AI as the catalyst for growth in its next wave of expansion.
Neat appoints Khan following his tenure at Aptiv, where Khan worked as executive vice president of intelligent systems. Prior to Aptiv, Khan served as senior vice president and general manager of Cisco Collaboration, where Khan led the turnaround and modernisation of the Cisco Webex portfolio across videoconferencing, video devices, and contact centre systems during and after the pandemic.
Khan commented: "Recent advancements in edge computing and large language models are allowing us to embed AI into edge devices running in the conference room. This architectural shift will allow us to unlock entirely new collaboration experiences. I am excited to join Neat as we have the unique opportunity to lead this transition.
“Neat is a product-centric company that is relentlessly focused on simplicity and intelligence. I’m honoured to join the team and energized to be working alongside some of the brightest minds as we define the next generation of collaboration."
