Lindy has expanded Lindy Academy, its free on-demand training platform for AV and IT professionals, with a new module focused on collaboration and connectivity workflows.
The AVIXA-accredited platform is designed to support installers, technicians and system integrators with practical training around real-world AV deployments. Sessions contribute CTS credits for Certified Technology Specialist professionals.
The latest addition forms part of Lindy Academy’s Level 1 programme and covers modern collaboration and connectivity requirements in professional AV environments. Existing modules include cabling and signal management, AV-over-IP and HDBaseT fundamentals.
Lindy said the courses are designed around practical problem-solving rather than theory alone, with short structured modules supported by illustrations and visual examples to help users apply learning in installation scenarios.
Michael O’Connor, head of global marketing at Lindy Group, said: “We’ve built the Lindy Academy to close the gap between technology and understanding. Our goal is to empower installers, technicians, and system integrators with knowledge they can use immediately on site.”
Lindy is also preparing to launch Level 2 training, beginning with a “USB-C Deep Dive” module covering USB-C technology, capabilities and integration challenges.
The training is available globally, including North America, Europe and Asia-Pacific, and can be completed at each learner’s own pace. Participants receive a Lindy certificate on completion.
