Altimium and HPC Technology join the SDVoE Alliance
Altimium, a French supplier of AV extenders, scalers, cabling and infrastructure, and HPC Technology, a Taiwan-based OEM/ODM supplier of AV connectivity solutions have joined the SDVoE Alliance as contributing and adopting members.

Thierry Eyssartier, managing director at Altimium who joins as a contributing member, said: “Altimium has always been committed to delivering the highest quality products to our customers and the capabilities of SDVoE for zero-latency, artifact-free transmission of true 4K60 (4:4:4) video perfectly align with our philosophy.

“We look forward to working with other alliance members as we lead the industry to signal distribution over Ethernet, with the performance we have all come to expect from the best matrix switches.”

Justin Kennington, president of the SDVoE Alliance, added: “As a trusted AV supplier, Altimium is in a unique position to introduce SDVoE solutions to the French market.

“They will be instrumental in helping to educate systems integrators and end users about the benefits of SDVoE technology and its role as the only standardised, interoperable approach to AV over IP.”

Altimium’s products will be on display at JTSE 2018 (Porte de la Chapelle, Paris, November 27 to 28) on the Tesca stand 124.

HPC Technology has also joined the alliance as an adopting member. Samuel Hsieh, general manager at HPC, said: “Over the past two years at HPC, we’ve closely followed the evolution of SDVoE technology and the alliance with great interest.

“The powerful capabilities of the platform to deliver zero-latency, artifact-free transmission of true 4K60 (4:4:4) video and its wide-ranging applicability to many applications including matrix switches, KVM extenders, video wall controllers and image processors make it the ideal choice for our next-generation professional AV products.”

Kennington said: “HPC’s ability to design, develop and manufacture devices based on SDVoE technology will give OEMs a quick way to begin delivering a full range of innovative products that take advantage of the SDVoE platform.”

HPC products will be on display at ISE 2019 (Amsterdam, February 5 to 8) on stand 15-B100 and at InfoComm 2019 (Orlando, June 12 to 14) on stand B861.
