K-array expands hands-on training with 2026 K-academy programme
K-array has launched its 2026 K-academy programme, doubling down on in-person training as the manufacturer looks to deepen technical engagement with integrators and consultants.

Centred around a two-day ‘K-experience’ hosted at its Tuscan headquarters near Florence, the programme offers a structured, immersive route into the company’s ecosystem spanning K-array, Kscape and Kgear solutions.

Running at regular intervals throughout 2026, the sessions are designed to move beyond product familiarisation and into applied system understanding. Attendees are guided through a mix of technical presentations, live demonstrations and project-led case studies, with a clear emphasis on how K-array technologies translate into real-world deployments.

The format reflects a broader shift among manufacturers toward experiential training, where exposure to system behaviour in situ is prioritised over purely theoretical instruction.

Day one of the programme focuses on the core K-array ecosystem, beginning with an overview of the company’s design philosophy and product architecture. This is followed by indoor demonstrations and a series of case studies that unpack system design decisions and application scenarios. A key component is the introduction to K-Framework 3, the company’s acoustical simulation software, which underpins system modelling and predictive performance analysis.

The second day expands the scope to include Kgear and Kscape solutions, alongside concert system applications. Weather permitting, this includes outdoor demonstrations, an important inclusion for evaluating system throw, coverage and behaviour in less controlled environments. The programme concludes with a factory tour and technical sessions covering amplification, matrixing and the wider K-array software suite.

Daniele Mochi, customer support director at K-array, positions the initiative as part of a wider effort to embed the company’s engineering approach within its user base.

“We believe training should extend beyond technical data,” he said. “The in-person experience allows participants to engage directly with our development teams and see how our systems behave in practice. It’s about understanding not just what the technology does, but how and why it is applied.”

“We believe that a K-academy course must go beyond merely presenting technical data,” he said. “Visiting our headquarters provides the complete K-experience. It’s a blend of education and entertainment, plus a unique opportunity to connect with the people developing our solutions.”

Alongside the in-person programme, K-array is continuing to develop its online K-academy platform.

The dual approach, combining physical and digital delivery, acknowledges both the value of hands-on exposure and the practical limitations of international travel, particularly for global integrator networks.

K-academy sessions for 2026 are scheduled across six dates from April through November.
