ISE says DOOH conference will pull in advertising professionals
Udo Müller, CEO of Ströer, will cover digital media and outdoor advertising in his keynote speech at February’s Digital Out Of Home (DOOH) Business Conference, according to organiser Integrated Systems Events (ISE). The conference, held at the Amsterdam RAI February 2-3, 2009 aims to cover the digital signage industry from content creators to advertisers.

Mike Blackman, managing director of ISE, stressed his intentions to offer something for those involved in digital signage, saying the conference would target: “all those involved in this dynamic sector”.

He said the event would be of interest to “the integrators who design and install digital signage systems right through to the brand owners whose messages those systems display.

“After extensive consultation with the industry and with our Conference development team of Dr Tony Lowe, Dr Christoph Köller and Antoine de Ryckel, we have come up with a clearly defined structure that allows each link in the DOOH value chain to have its turn on the podium.”

Speakers will include Adrian Cotterill, owner of dailydooh.com; Michael Scott, technology director of Clear Channel Outdoor; Oliver Poppelbaum, managing director of ECE Flatmedia and Paula Oliver, development director of JCDecaux Airport.

The conference will cover digital signage in Malls, the London Underground and airports, as well as generic talks regarding retail environments, audience measurement, engagement and strategies for campaign.

Blackman said many “high-ranking professionals” had already agreed to speak at the conference, adding that the event would attract “advertising professionals, media agencies, location owners, content creators, and retail consultants”.
