INFiLED delivers digital displays for Paris’ Westfield Forum des Halles
The Westfield Forum des Halles is home to a new INFiLED LED screen, capable of standing out in one of Paris’ most active public interiors.

Westfield worked with Scenarchie, a French AV design and consulting firm with a specialisation in scenography and digital environments. Scenarchie was tasked with establishing the technical and spatial requirements for the new display, ensuring that the final product would sit comfortably within the proportions and flow of Place Carrée.

Systems integrator, BTB Audiovisuel, took responsibility for the onsite installation in the busy locale of Place Carrée. With high foot traffic throughout the day, all activity had to take place between 10pm and 7am, during the centre’s closing hours.

At 8.6 m wide and 4.7 m high, the chosen display features a 2.5mm pixel pitch and a resolution of 3360 x 1890 pixels and needed to achieve a seamless alignment across its full surface. The display is visible from multiple directions and multiple distances across the centre, meaning even minor misalignments between cabinets or modules risked compromising the overall image quality. INFiLED’s WP series was specified, meeting the requirements of a large-format display that can be viewed from various distances, maintaining visual clarity from nearby walkways and from further across the centre. The WP Series’ brightness, contrast, greyscale, and refresh rate performance were key advantages for this installation, ensuring that retail campaigns and branded content are clearly legible with the intensity required in a bright, visually crowded shopping environment.

The display was configured with a Novastar H series controller and six CVT10-S fibre units.

Over eight evenings, the team dismantled the existing display while also managing the power and fibre cabling. A controller was integrated into a technical rack and the mounting structure was adapted to suit the dimensions of the new screen.

Jean-Pierre Leandre, head of AV, BTB Audiovisuel, commented: "A screen of this size with a 2.5mm pixel pitch requires flawless installation quality, and I was genuinely impressed by the level of care taken in the integration, as well as the overall quality of work by our team and our partner, INFiLED.

"The cabinets were perfectly aligned, as were the modules. Exceptional attention was paid to the overall integration,” Jean-Pierre Leandre continues. “Nothing protrudes. Everything was executed to perfection. It is truly remarkable work resulting in a high-quality screen that everyone notices."
