French football club Stade Malherbe Caen has unveiled a striking new 72 sq m LED display system at its Stade Michel d’Ornano, designed and integrated by Auvisys using INFiLED’s ORMV P7.8 Max panels.
The installation replaces aging digital boards with a pair of ultra-bright, weather-hardened displays that have already changed the matchday experience for fans and sponsors alike.

Each of the two 8m × 4.5m screens delivers 1,024 × 576-pixel resolution and a powerful 8,000-nit brightness, ensuring vivid colour reproduction and clear visibility even under direct sunlight. The system is built around INFiLED’s MV Series, known for its robust construction and modular design, which allowed for seamless integration into the existing stadium architecture.

Reliability was key for the 20,000-seat venue. The IP65-rated ORMV panels offer full protection against rain, dust and humidity, while front and rear maintenance access and redundant power and signal inputs ensure minimal downtime during busy match schedules.

INFiLED’s local team in France worked closely with Auvisys throughout, from initial site surveys and mechanical design to colour calibration and commissioning, completing the project on a tight deadline.

According to Auvisys, the decision to partner with INFiLED came down to three factors: product quality, cost-effectiveness and responsive local support. Beyond the technical benefits, the club now has a platform capable of driving new sponsorship opportunities and dynamic fan engagement.
