Meko has joined forces with research body, DisplaySearch to host DisplayForum 2010 on November 2-3 in London.

Meko, European display specialist, and DisplaySearch will stage a two-day event at the Hilton London Heathrow Airport that will focus on environmental aspects of large-area displays and 3D technology in Europe.

Paul Gray, director of European TV Research for DisplaySearch will be speaking on the first day about green materials for flat panel displays. Under the title “Green Large-Area Displays in Europe (GLADE)” the forum will discuss reduced power consumption and hazardous materials in manufacturing, the reuse and recycling of displays at the end of life and environmental certifications, standards and directives.

The second day of the event will explore developments in 3D technology and the market demand for various display types. The 3D Vision Europe discussion will cover TV broadcasting and infrastructure, cinema and projection, professional 3D, the PC market and gaming.
