UK based AV company, AV One, has sponsored a new exhibit at Aberdeen’s Science Centre, delivering the installation for free.
The Aberdeen-based company provided a 98-in UHD screen that previously live-linked with a touch console to the NASA website, located close to the entrance of the science centre to challenge children and adults to manoeuvre a spaceship onto a docking station.
The NASA exhibit itself has been relocated and installed on to the other side of the exhibit floor, with AV One delivering a new UHD 75-in screen donated by the company.
Graeme McGuire, managing director, AV One, commented: “We were delighted to sponsor this new exhibit for the Science Centre, having maintained a close partnership with them since outfitting all AV aspects of the building as part of its £6 million refurb back in 2020.
“The AV experience at Aberdeen Science Centre plays a key role in inspiring an interest in the applications of science and technology in the next generation, and we’re extremely proud to provide AV technology to such a fantastic and important facility in the city.”
