The Digital Signage Summit 2026 brought senior industry leaders to Munich for two days of discussion around the technologies, business models and partnerships shaping the future of digital signage and DOOH.
Organised by invidis consulting in collaboration with Integrated Systems Events, the summit marked its 20th anniversary with a programme focused on NextGen Signage. Sessions explored the sector’s shift from hardware-led models towards software-driven, platform-based and service-oriented ecosystems.
Topics covered across the event included AI-driven platform strategies, cybersecurity, orchestration, consolidation, acquisitions and changing market dynamics. The discussions reflected a market moving beyond rapid expansion towards longer-term questions around resilience, scalability and strategic positioning.
Mike Blackman, managing director of Integrated Systems Events, said: “The DSS brings together the leaders actively shaping the future of digital signage and creates an environment for meaningful discussion, collaboration and long-term strategic thinking.”

Florian Rotberg, founder and managing director of invidis consulting, said the industry is entering a new phase, with companies making strategic decisions around “platforms, AI, operations and long-term scalability.”
New breakout session formats were introduced for the 2026 edition, creating additional space for focused discussion and audience engagement alongside keynote presentations, panels, spotlight sessions and networking events.
The Digital Signage Summit will return to the Hilton Munich Airport from 12 to 13 May 2027.
