Digital Projection has bolstered its Middle East team with the addition of former Casio employee Abdulrahman Aladawi as business development manager.
The move comes in the same year that Digital Projection opened its Dubai Experience Centre, where Aladawi will be based.
Aladawi joins the company from Casio where he was regional sales manager MENA for digital signage and projectors. Prior to that he has held a number of positions at manufacturers and system integrators in AV and broadcast.
He will play a key role in Digital Projection’s plans for growth in the Middle East and is tasked with building relations with system integrator and distributor partners.
Aladawi said: “I’m thrilled to join Digital Projection – a company with such a strong presence and trusted for its reliability and innovation in the projection industry. With some years of experience in this fast-growing region, I wanted to work for an industry leader with a history of technological innovation and success stories in complex projects worldwide for my next career move; somewhere I could keep learning and facing new challenges. In my opinion, Digital Projection represents exactly this kind of place and I’m excited to be a part of such a dynamic organisation and team.”
Matthew Horwood, general manager Middle East at Digital Projection, added: “We’re delighted to welcome Abdulrahman to the Digital Projection team; his appointment reinforces our commitment to supporting growth in the Middle East region.
Abdulrahman brings extensive experience of the region and the Audio Visual channel, and will focus on further increasing the support to our partners.”
