Canford will offer loudspeakers for harsh industrial and commercial audio applications to its customers in the UK after adding DNH loudspeakers to its commercial audio product range.
The Norwegian DNH, founded by a former prisoner of war and his brother in 1946, is the first loudspeaker manufacturer to develop an explosion proof speaker, according to Canford. The company currently boasts more than 85% of all loudspeaker installations used on offshore platforms in the North Sea.
DNH loudspeakers used for background music and announcements in hospitals, schools and leisure facilities as well as the London Underground.
Ian Winter, product manager at Canford, said that DNH’s attention detail and commitment to making reliable products echoed Canford’s approach to manufacturing.
Chris Evans, sales manager at DNH, praised Canford’s technical support and said DNH was “thrilled to be working with Canford”.
DNH products will be available to Canford customers from April 2017.
