Stage Audio Works has announced a new chapter in its long-standing relationship with Blue Array Productions following an investment in a new d&b audiotechnik SL-Series system.
The Johannesburg-based production house has become the first production company in South Africa to invest in the ecosystem, acquiring 28 KSL line array modules and accompanying D40 amplifiers.
This investment is the latest in a partnership that began in 2009, when Blue Array began its d&b journey with the purchase of the Q-Series, supplied by Stage Audio Works. A subsequent investment in the J-Series in 2011 further established Blue Array as a premium provider for large-scale audio projects in the region. For over 15 years, the two companies have worked closely together around a shared passion for raising the standard of live audio in South Africa.
Blue Array Productions’ investment in the SL-Series ecosystem reflects growing global and local demand for d&b systems. As international touring riders increasingly specify the SL-Series, the company strengthens its position as the first choice for global artists touring in the region, as well as providing a high-performance, high-ROI system for local festivals and events where demand for d&b systems is also on the rise.
