Biamp Launch automates meeting room setup to cut installation time
Biamp claims to have drastically cut the time it takes to set up meeting room audio systems, debuting Biamp Launch in a press conference on January 21, 2021.

Revealed as a feature on the new Devio SCX series and TesiraForté X series, Biamp Launch is activated by
the touch of a button on the front of the unit. It automatically finds devices, measures the acoustics of the
room and tunes the system accordingly. Users get a report of the room before and after tuning.

The automated system has
the potential to slash room set up times and maintain standardisation across a range of sites regardless of their location
or the skill set of the installation team.

Biamp said it drew on multiple hours of support calls and troubleshooting
to help it develop the system that it plans to expand and develop.

Devio SCX was launched for larger room
types and adds VoIP to the Devio family. Biamp launched two models: the SCX 400 and SCX 800.

The compact TesiraForté
X is just one third of the size of the original TesiraForté, measuring 208mm x 208mm x 36mm. Three models
have been launched to support 4, 8 and 16 channels of AEC, making it suitable for support of large conference spaces.
