Audiologic worked closely with GVAV to deliver a clear and precise audio system at the Plymouth Marine Laboratory for the Marine matters Centre (MMC).
The centre required an upgrade to its flexible conference venue with facilities, providing content streaming capabilities via a unified communications system such as Teams or Zoom, with the option of live streaming to YouTube.
An auto-tracking system was installed in the space, consisting of a QSC Core 110f digital processor running a custom script. The processor runs three QSC PTZ cameras to track participants within the room, using speech picked up from four, in-room Shure MXA 910 ceiling microphones and an MX418 gooseneck microphone.
The system can use the Shure microphones to trigger a range of camera locations based on the position of an active participant.
A Sennheiser SpeechLine wireless microphone system is provided, automatically allocating a frequency on the DECT range when in use, eliminating the need to search for available frequencies or interference.
Sennheiser’s Infared for assistive listening is also provided for the hard of hearing.
