ASB GlassFloor, a provider of LED sports flooring, has announced the opening of Athletes Lab 2.0, an athletic training facility designed to elevate player experience and performance through cutting-edge technology integration and world-class training environments.
The expanded Orlando hub fuses proven court performance with next-generation software integration and analytics.
Developed in partnership with the NBA, the facility caters to NBA teams for utilising the space for practice sessions while also welcoming NCAA programs seeking elite-level training environments and data-driven player development.
At twice the size of its predecessor, the ASB Athletes Lab 2.0 features both a traditional hardwood court and the ASB LumiFlex full-LED glass court. The wooden floor has been purposefully installed to allow teams to compare and experience the distinct advantages of ASB GlassFloor against conventional surfaces in an elite training environment.
The facility integrates the fully interactive LumiFlex court—displaying real-time graphics, player tracking, and performance metrics directly on the playing surface—with ShotTracker analytics for continuous skill development tracking and Spiideo multi-angle video capture for game review.
