AMX controllers empower ACI Informatica’s ‘futureproofed’ auditorium
Integrator NADA 2008 and Intermark Sistemi worked together to develop an AVoIP network system powered by AMX products.

ACI Informatica, an IT-based management and implementation company, wished to transform its aging auditorium into a modern event space with the best and brightest AV technology.

For this purpose, AMX controllers, encoders and decoders were selected, with the venue hoping to integrate elements from the old setup such as its sound system and microphones, requiring the installation of a new management system that can operate both old and new technology.

The AMX Netlinx NX-2200 integrated controller was selected for its backward compatibility features and support of both analogue and digital formats, delivering secure, in-network communication and monitoring via its NX Master Security firmware, dual NIC ports and IPv6 support.

AMX Modero G5 series touchpanels allow presenters and moderators with to access responsive AV controls, with an edditionl eight AMX NMX-ENC-N2412A encoders and four NMX-DEC-N2424A decoders adding low-latency AVoIP distribution.

With 4K60 4:4:4 and HDR support, the N2400 series allows video and audio distribution with features such as active directory integration and 802.1X support for reliable network security.

The space also boasts a 138-in LED videowall, motorised PTZ cameras and a multi-channel recording and streaming system with potential for future upgrades or network expansion.
