AMX and RGB in training drive
AMX and RGB Communications are driving customer education, announcing new specialised training programmes following a recent partnership agreement.

The new programme expands AMX University training to include three separate UK based facilities. Centres in London, York, and Hungerford will each focus on a specific content area. AMX University courses taught at AMX UK in London will focus on technical and programming training for AMX NetLinx, InspiredSignage and Vision2 product lines. The AMX University courses taught at AMX Europe in York will offer experienced AMX programmers the opportunity to further advance their skills by undertaking in-depth courses that focus on integrating Resource Management Suite (RMS) and AMX Device Discovery third-party manufacturer software tools.

AMX University courses taught at RGB Communications (Hungerford) will support the programming and installation of the Novara ControlPads and Solecis Switching/ Interface product lines.

Brian Davies, technology and training director at AMX Europe, said the new courses would allow AMX customers to access a range of new training programmes adding, “it also allows us to focus each AMX University facility, making them centres of excellence in targeted product areas.”

Caroline Britt, managing director of RGB Communications said she was delighted to host training for Novara and Solecis ranges. “This will ensure the highest level of education in specific areas and enable our customers to gain an in-depth understanding of each product group within a well structured programme of education,” she added.

All AMX and RGB Communications customers will be able to register for these courses via AMX University on-line. Customers will be able to register for any of the trainer-lead courses offered in the three AMX University UK locations, as well as access AMX On-Demand self-paced online tutorials. AMX University Online monitors each student’s progress through AMX education with learning curricula called ‘Learn Tracks’. By registering into any of seven different learn tracks, students can see and sign-up for all of the required courses to achieve AMX Certified Expert (ACE) certifications.
