Vivitek has expanded its offerings for the education market with the introduction of its DH759USTi and D756USTi ultra-short throw interactive projectors.
Each full HD and WXGA resolution projector provides HID driver-free recognition for set up, and ten finger touch capacity (upgraded from four finger capacity) via optical sensor for interactive lessons. This allows users to pinch, zoom, rotate and click on content.
The DH759USTi can create a diagonal image of up to 110-in from a distance of 51cm with 1080p resolution. The 3,500 lumens model offers a contrast ratio of 10,000:1. It also features 2x10W audio power with microphone input, and connectivity options including HDMI and RJ-45. Its lamp can last up to 7,000 hours.
Its sister D756USTi model can create a maximum screen size of 100-in from a 44cm distance. It has 3,300 lumens of brightness and 10,000 hours of lamp life.
Both projectors feature a sleep timer and auto-power-off for conserving energy, and come with Vivitek’s interactive whiteboard software NovoScreennote.
