Yamaha has released its version 5.0 firmware, adding new features, control and compatibility to its Rivage PM series digital mixing systems.
Version 5.0 is a free update which includes new features, including monitoring and operation of wireless receiver systems from Sennheiser, Shure and Sony, as well as monitoring and operation of Nexo and Yamaha PC-D/DI series power amplifiers and Yamaha DZR series loudspeakers.
Direct control, naming and colour selection for Steinberg Nuendo live recording software is also included, in addition to a redesigned global paste workflow.
Remote control has been added to the AFC image feature, with object-based 3D panning to create streamlined workflows. The update also adds full compatibility with the open sound control (OSC) network control protocol, allowing users to access remote control of a range of parameters (fader levels, mutes, pan, mix and more).
