Vivitek has launched its DU4381Z-ST WUXGA short throw laser projector, designed for galleries, museums, education environments and more.
The projector boasts 6,100 lumens of high brightness, with a 3,000,000:1 contrast ratio and up to 30,000 hours of laser light source life.
Featuring a 0.5 short-throw lens, the projector requires only a distance of two metres from the wall to achieve an image size of 185-in. At a distance of 3.23m, the projector can deliver a diagonal image of 300-in.
The DU4381Z-ST features DLP DarkChip3 and BrillantColor technologies to deliver a colour-uniform picture with a brightness of up to 6,100 lumens due to its laser phosphor light source.
A 3D synchronisation port is provided for compatibility with the active 3D synchronisation protocol for IR.
Image signals can be transmitted over long distance by cable, using an HDBaseT interface and a standard CAT5e/6-LAN interface.
