Christie together with their partners, Total Solution, has showcased a number of its visuals solutions at BroadcastAsia 2014 with a projection mapped onto a 3D surface.
Broadcast Asia 2014, the 19th iteration of the annual trade show, is currently on-going in Singapore. At the event, Christie along with its partner Total Solution has showcased a range of products intended for a variety of applications.
The primary attraction of the booth is the Christie Roadster HD14K-M projector and the Christie Roadster HD18K 3-chip DLP projector, which are together responsible for projection mapping and real-time tracking ID-tags from a coolux media server. The projection mapping is taking place on a 3D surface measuring 24 square metres.
Equipped with DLP technology, high-quality optics and 10-bit image processing, the Christie Roadster series projectors are specifically tailored to project on unusual surfaces. Embedded with Christie Twist, the projectors use edge-blend to wrap curved images on to the projection surfaces.
