Vidyo is to show its new VidyoRoom SE (Soft Edition) with 4K rendering capabilities for its VidyoRoom HD-230 and VidyoPanoramaTM 600 systems at the InfoComm 2014 trade show in Las Vegas (18-20 June).
The 4K upgrade means Vidyo’s software portfolio enables the rendering of content and video in 4K.
VidyoRoom SE can be installed on general purpose PCs such as the Intel NUC. By enabling customers to source hardware locally and avoid costly import duties and fees, the VidyoRoom SE delivers a lower initial cost and a lower total cost of ownership for group video communications systems.
Vidyo is offering 4K as a free upgrade for VidyoRoom HD-230 and VidyoPanorama 600 systems that are on a current maintenance and support plan. 4K is also available as an option for new VidyoRoom SE customers.
VidyoRoom SE and Vidyo 4K software upgrades and products will be available globally in July.
