Shure to debut Intellimix foundation system and new pendant loudspeaker at Infocomm 2025

Shure has announced two new conferencing systems, designed for AV and IT integrators to support varied meeting spaces through its Intellimix foundation system and new pendant loudspeaker model.

The IntelliMix foundation system is a standalone base kit for the IntelliMix ecosystem, allowing AV installers to mix and match with Shure’s Microflex ecosystem and third-party camera and control products.

The system is certified for Microsoft Teams and features built-in IntelliMix Room digital signal processing, optimised for Shure products, as well as a touchpanel to provide meeting control options.

The IntelliMix foundation system can be paired with Microflex ecosystem products and configured using Shure Designer software, with management available via ShureCloud.

Microflex MXN-6 networked pendant loudspeaker

Debuting at InfoComm 2025, the Microflex MXN-6 networked pendant loudspeaker is PoE-powered and is designed to fit into a Shure networked conferencing audio system without the need for an additional outboard amplifier.

The loudspeaker supports standards-based security protocols for managing access and protecting data, with 8-2.1X authentication and AES audio encryption.

The MXN-6 can be used with Designer 6 system configuration software which allows users to design and deploy every device within the Microflex ecosystem signal chain and remotely manage device status through ShureCloud.

The loudspeaker features pre-tuned frequency response for voice intelligibility in AV conferencing applications and can complement a range of open-ceiling installation types found in modern collaboration spaces.
