Shure has debuted its Axient Digital PSM, Shure’s first digital wireless in ear monitoring system designed for large-scale productions and touring.
Axient Digital PSM is Shure’s first wireless multichannel audio system enabled product range.
A multi-channel wideband mode is included to offer improved spectral efficiency, freeing up radios for improved RF performance or channel count scalability.
Axient Digital PSM transmitters support both analogue and digital input formats, including AES3, Dante, and AES67, which enables monitor engineers to connect to modern consoles. Standard AES256 encryption is available for secure transmission.
Up to 40 channels are supported per six MHz (in Europe), with two single rack space transmitter options – ADTQ quad transmitter and ADTD dual transmitter.
Narrowband also provides access to more RF output power per channel and maintains spectral efficiency at 17 channels per six MHz.
