Shure and Zoom launch IntelliMix systems for AI-powered meeting spaces
Shure and Zoom have introduced new IntelliMix solutions for Zoom Rooms, designed to support scalable deployment across workplace and higher education environments.

The IntelliMix Room Kits and IntelliMix Foundation System for Zoom Rooms are intended to provide consistent audio capture for meetings, lectures and collaboration spaces, supporting the growing use of Zoom AI in hybrid working and learning.

The IntelliMix Foundation System includes a compute unit with built-in IntelliMix Room DSP software and a touch panel. Shure said the system is designed for more sophisticated AV rooms, reducing or replacing the need for external DSP components.

The Foundation System is aimed at lecture halls, divisible rooms, hybrid and HyFlex classrooms, large boardrooms and other complex collaboration environments. It works with Shure’s Microflex portfolio and supports flexible video options, including cameras from the Shure Camera Partner Program and other supported choices.

For standard meeting rooms, the pre-configured IntelliMix Room Kits combine the same compute and touch panel with the MXA902 Ceiling Array Microphone and Loudspeaker, plus an intelligent camera from Huddly.

The kits are designed for faster deployment across small to large spaces, with zero-touch provisioning and options based on room size. The range includes IntelliMix Room Kit 30 for small spaces, Kit 50 for medium rooms, Kit 70 for large rooms and Kit 80 for larger rooms requiring multiple cameras.

Jeff Smith, head of product, workplace at Zoom, said: “Shure's IntelliMix Collaboration Portfolio amplifies the power of Zoom Rooms through clear, consistent audio that drives Zoom AI's most essential capabilities across any room, and any environment.”

The systems can be monitored, managed and updated remotely using ShureCloud or Zoom Device Management, helping IT and AV teams reduce operational overhead across room estates.

Wayne Driggers, director, strategic alliances at Shure, said: “Reliable, AI-powered communication starts with trust, and we want to ensure organisations feel confident when deploying the underlying infrastructure that empowers it.”

The IntelliMix Room Kits and IntelliMix Foundation System for Zoom will be shown for the first time at InfoComm 2026 and are expected to be available from July 2026.
