Sennheiser will show its latest wireless innovations at PLASA Show 2025, with the wideband Spectera ecosystem set to make its UK debut alongside the SoundBase RF planning tool and the complete EW-DX range.
Spectera, the world’s first wideband, bidirectional digital wireless system based on WMAS (Wireless Multichannel Audio Systems) technology, offers up to 64 channels (32 in/32 out) within a single rack unit. Already deployed at this year’s Glastonbury Festival, the system delivers low-latency digital audio for IEMs and microphones, with bidirectional bodypacks handling both IEM/IFB and mic/line signals simultaneously.

Sennheiser will also highlight SoundBase, a new brand-neutral RF planning and management platform created by audio engineers Matt Dale and Donny Kuser. Designed to integrate with systems from all major manufacturers, the software aims to simplify wireless coordination by centralising workflows and enabling remote collaboration.

Alongside these innovations, Sennheiser will present the full Evolution Wireless Digital EW-DX range, including the EW-DX EM 4 Dante receiver. Other products on show will include the e 835-S-PTT talk-back microphone, the MD 421 Kompakt, and the Neumann Miniature Clip Microphone System (MCM).

The company’s presence at PLASA also coincides with Sennheiser’s 80th anniversary, marked with special promotions throughout the event. Demonstrations will take place on booth D6 at Olympia London from September 7 to 9, with the Sennheiser team on hand to show the technology to visitors.
