Powersoft has launched the third-generation of its Unica fixed-install amplifier platform, designed to delivery consistent performance across Powersoft’s range of amplifiers.
The Unica range is comprised of three four-channel models: The Unica 9K4, 12K4 and 16K4, featuring 9,000W, 12,000W and 16,000W respectively.
Three eight channel models are also available, the Unica 2K8, 4K8 and 8K8 with 2,000W, 4,000W and 8,000W options.
Cloud integration is available to allow for storing and sharing of projects online, keeping the amplifier’s firmware up to date, or integration in third-party systems through APIs.
The new Unica models feature a new power supply section for reduced power dispersion through wasted heat. The latest generation of single-stage power factor correction is used, with on-chip technology processing for lower power consumption and thermal dissipation.
Powersoft’s smart rails management is used, allowing the supply rails to adapt in real-time to the required output voltage to maximise efficiency and reduce idle losses.
An eco-mode is also available to diminish consumption when in use.
