Optoma expands ProScene projector range

Optoma has expanded its range of ProScene projectors, designed for the professional installation market, with the launch of the X605 model.

The new model has a centre-lens design, full lens shift and three interchangeable lens options including an off-axis short throw lens.

This option is aimed at the museums and exhibitions market, where there are space constraints as, together with the lens shift function, it helps installers can get the image where it is needed.

This XGA model produces 6000 lumens of brightness.

Optoma offers three optional lenses; a standard lens, a fixed zoom short-throw lens and a long throw lens to adapt the projector to the installation.

The chassis design incorporates extensive vertical (up to +60%/-20%) and horizontal (+/-10%) lens shift, which can be used with all three lens options.

The wired remote functionality allows all aspects of the projector to be individually controlled without requiring line-of-sight to the projector.

Specifically tailored to suit the simulation market, the WUXGA EH505 is also available in matte black to minimise unwanted distractions in multi-projector training installations.

Once installed, each model in the range can be monitored over LAN and can also provide the user with email message alerts in case an error occurs, a lamp fails or needs to be replaced, using Crestron Roomview.
