NEC has launched a new form factor 43†LCD public display. The X431BT facilitates digital signage on pillars, shelves or other areas with “spatial limitationsâ€.
The product is designed to allow users to implement creative applications that open up new, effective ways of appealing to customers. Numerous connection and usability features such as LAN control, help to safeguard operator investments.
With a width of just under 106cm and a height of 26.5 cm, the X431BT offers a range of installation options in landscape as well as portrait format. The maximum brightness of 700 cd/m2 and a contrast ratio of 3,000:1 with a resolution of 1,920 x 480 pixels are claimed to provide outstanding display quality. The NEC option slot for expansion modules such as the NEC Built-in PC or NEC Media Player, coupled with control and management via RS232 or the even more flexible LAN connection, is designed to maximise the user’s options for making the most out of the display.
