NDI certifies Thinlabs PoE devices for signage and education projects

NDI has anounced a partnership with Thinlabs, certifying a range of Thinlabs Power over Ethernet (PoE) devices and all-in-one displays as NDI-enabled systems.

By combining NDI with PoE, organisations can simplify deployments by delivering power, video, and data over a single network cable. This approach reduces installation complexity, lowers infrastructure costs, and enables flexible placement of displays and endpoints without traditional electrical requirements, making it suitable for large-scale, always-on communication environments.

Thinlabs, an established leader in PoE computing systems, has deployed more than 60,000 PoE-powered devices in the field.

As part of NDI certification, the following Thinlabs platforms are now validated as NDI devices:

TL1200P featuring AMD Ryzen Embedded R1305G processors
TL1215 featuring AMD Ryzen Embedded V2516 processors

Both devices deliver full functionality while being powered entirely over Ethernet, and each can also act as a power hub running Thinlabs PoE monitors to support flexible input/output configurations.

Thinlabs’ all-in-one PoE displays have also received NDI certification:

TL2705 (24-in non-touch) and TL2805 (24" touch), based on the TL1200 series with R1305G processors
TL2701 (24-in non-touch) and TL2861 (24" touch), based on the TL1215 series with V2516 processors
