Meyer Sound to debut three products at Prolight + Sound 2016

Meyer Sound will introduce three additions to its sound reinforcement range at Prolight + Sound 2016, including its MJF-208 stage monitor.

The self-powered MJF-208 stage monitor provides the performance of Meyer Sound’s MJF-212A and MJF-210 models in a smaller package. At 13-in and under 45 pounds, its offers low distortion in a small footprint.

“Portability and ease of use for the MJF-208 are enhanced by the MDM-832 distribution module, which can route up to eight channels of AC power, balanced audio, and RMS monitoring data to multiple stage monitors,” says Luke Jenks, Meyer Sound’s director of product management.

Meyer Sound will present how its MDM-5000 high-power distribution module can distribute AC power, audio signals, and RMS to LEO systems. The rack-mount unit is available in CE- and UL-compliant versions.

It will also debut its extended vertical coverage option LYON-WXT for the LYON-W wide-coverage line array loudspeaker from 9 to 15 degrees. Suited for 360-degree arena shows, the LYON-WXT integrates into a LYON array without transition frames.

Meyer Sound will host daily demonstrations of its Leopard system at its stand, as well as taking part in the Prolight + Sound Manufacturers’ Forum program.

It will exhibit in Hall 3.1, Stand A71 at Prolight + Sound 2016 in Frankfurt.
