Magewell will launch its Pro Convert for NDI to HDMI model at IBC 2019, its latest addition to the Pro Convert range.
The Pro Convert for NDI to HDMI decoder allows users to transform live NDI streams into HDMI output for connection to a monitor, projector or alternative baseband device.
The decoder decodes NDI streams up to 2160x1200 at 60 frames per second for output over its HDMI 2.0 interface, utilising FPGA-based video processing to enable up-conversion of HD or 2K source streams to 4K, with a DHCP-based network configuration to detect video and audio characteristics of the target display device via EDID metadata, automatically selecting output parameters or providing a range of compatible options for the user.
Additional features include image flip for inverted projector installations, safe area controls and remote control of PTZ source cameras.
