Magewell has announced it will unveil its Ultra Encode AIO advanced live encoder for streaming and IP workflows, offering HDMI and SDI connectivity as well as 4K encoding and file-based recording.
The Ultra Encode AIO enables simultaneous multi-protocol streaming as well as higher streaming bitrates and file recording.
Multiple video encoding formats are included, such as H.264, H.265 (HEVC), NDI |HX 2 and NDI |HX 3. An array of protocols are also available, including RTMP, RTMPS, SRT, RTSP, RTP, HLS and TVU’s ISSP technology.
Video can be encoded at resolutions up to 4096x2160 at 30 fps from HDMI sources, or up to 1080p HD at 60 fps from the device’s 3G-SDI input.
One live input source, either HDMI or SDI can be encoded, or video can be mixed from the HDMI and SDI inputs into a combined output. Video can also be encoded at bitrates up to 32Mbps, with up to eight channels of audio encoded in AAC format.
Two concurrent encoding profiles with distinctive combinations of resolution, frame rate and bitrate can be specified, with up to eight user-configurable overlays such as text, images and a clock applied to each profile.
The encoder can be configured, monitored and controlled through its browser-based web interface, accessible through computers or mobile devices with an optimised layout for smartphones.
Centralised management of multiple units is available through the Magewell Cloud software.
IBC 2022 will take place at the RAI Amsterdam from 9-12 September 2022.
