Lumens Digital Optics has announced that its OIP-N40E IP transcoder is now Dante ready. This enables it to route and convert Dante video and transmit Dante audio bi-directionally over a standard Ethernet network.
OIP-N40E provides a USB-C port with DisplayPort support, enabling IP and Dante AV-H cameras to transmit video to a USB-connected laptop for use in Teams and Zoom calls. Moreover, installed Dante microphones can be routed via the OIP-N40E to the computer while the remote audio is played out to the room’s Dante speakers.
OIP-N40E delivers a secure plug and play experience to meeting room users. Leveraging DisplayPort, UVC and UAC standards, the device is recognised as a USB video and audio source. No drivers, adapters or software are required.
