Lawo has launched its mc²36 xp desk to its range of audio production console range, including support for up to 256 DSP channels.
The mc²36 xp is physically identical to the mc²36 xp MkII, omitting on-board processing. IP network features are included alongside processing redundancy and eligibility for a multi-slice console array based around a single A_UHD Core processing unit.
The mc²36 xp requires external processing and can be used in combination with a Pooling 8 license to share the DSP heft of one A_UHD Core with up to seven other virtual or physical console surfaces.
The audio production console is available with 16, 32 and 48 faders and comes equipped with the same controls and touchscreens as the mc²56 and mc²96.
On-board I/O capability iis provided with 16 mic/line inputs, 16 line outputs, eight AES inputs and outputs, eight GPI/Os and a local MADI port.
Support for 48kHz and 96kHz operation is also supported.
