Joan Workplace Management unveiled its Joan 6 RE room management device at ISE 2024, designed to accommodate the hybrid work model.
Joan 6 RE introduces a new architecture for streamlined room management, integrating with the calendars and tools that are already in use with end users such as Google Workspace, Office 365, Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Slack and more.
The device is battery powered and can be mounted on a variety of surfaces without cables or drilling.
The Joan 6 RE adds TLS 1.3 support, strengthening data transmission and safeguarding sensitive information. FIPS 140-certified encryption is also included for improved data protection.
The device includes a new interface with distinctive icons and efficient workflows with an intermittently connected mode to enable energy-efficient operations, even in challenging WiFi environments.
