Jabra has announced that its panoramic 4K video system has been selected by Zoom Video Communications to receive its telepresence capability Zoom Rooms Speaker Switching.
Zoom Rooms Speaker Switching is an addition feature for Zoom Rooms videoconferencing, with the new service and hardware components including the Zoom Rooms certified Jabra PanaCast camera.
The PanaCast’s three camera angles will work with the Zoom Rooms Speaker Switching alongside three microphones that detect which side is speaking, using Zoom Rooms technology to switch to the correct camera angle based on the microphone activity.
When no user is speaking, the service applies full preset mode to allow all participants to be clearly captured and displayed in actual size.
