Eyevis has unveiled a series of displays based on Laser Phosphor Technology (LPD) which it says consumes up to 75 per cent less power than other display technologies.
LPDs use solid state lasers to excite phosphors on a surface emissive panel. Eyevis claims this technology consumes up to 75 per cent less power than other display technologies translating into the lowest cost of ownership of any large format display.
The eyevis products boast a brightness of 800nits, an optical seam of 0.25mm and a refresh rate of 240Hz.
