Extron Electronics is now shipping the VNC 325 3G-SDI, a VN-Matrix series codec that streams SDI, HD-SDI, or 3G-SDI video and embedded audio over standard IP networks.
The VNC 325 transports low latency, production-quality SD or HD video with embedded audio. Two channels of audio can be streamed with video in low bandwidth applications or up to 16 audio channels can be streamed in ancillary - ANC data blocks of four channels. Form factor improvements from the VN-Matrix 300 Series make it compatible with Extron rack mount accessories.
The VNC 325 uses the PURE3 codec, which provides a combination of bit rate efficiency, low latency, visually lossless image quality, and a high immunity to network errors.
