Extron has launched its DTP3 T 331 and DTP3 R 331 long-distance, digital twisted pair extenders, designed for sending HDMI, USB 2 data, audio, and bidirectional RS-232 signals up to 100 metres over a shielded CAT 6A cable.
The HDCP 2.3 compliant products include technologies that extend video with optimal image quality and support video resolutions up to 4K/60 at 4:4:4 colour sampling.
All supported video resolutions are transported without compression, with the DTP3 transmitter providing one HDMI input, one USB host port, and a mirrored HDMI output.
The transmitter features EDID Minder for integration and operation, with the receiver boasting a four-port USB hub and stereo audio de-embedding for installation in professional environments.
Both models feature low-profile enclosures and remote power capability, supporting USB 2 devices with data rates up to High-Speed USB. Both models are compatible with USB 3 devices that can operate at USB 2 data rates, including integrated USB signal extension to enable connection to peripheral devices over the same twisted pair cable as HDMI signals.
The DTP3 331 series supports uncompressed extension of video data rates up to 18 Gbps, supporting HDR, deep colour up to 12-bit, 3D, and embedded lossless audio formats.
Simultaneous transmission of bidirectional RS-232 signals is supported from a control system for AV device control, as well as remote power capabilities.
An Extron Everlast power supply is included with the transmitter, which can deliver power to the receiver, allowing both devices to share one power supply.
