Dataton has unveiled the Watchpax 60 series of media servers at ISE 2019. Featuring a redundant power supply as standard, the rack-friendly series is suitable for live events, attractions and broadcast installations.
The new 2U media server is available in three models offering from 4 up to 12 outputs and support for uncompressed video playback.
Each model features HDMI and SDI input, balanced audio, dual 10Gbit/s network for high-speed content transfer, NVMe media storage, as well as a Watchout license. The intermediate and top-end models include hardware synchronisation, with the top-end model also featuring an eight-channel bi-directional SDI card for live video capture and playout.
Weighing in at a 10kg, Watchpax 60 sports an aluminum chassis, and can be tabletop, rack-mounted or stacked.
Dataton offers a wide range of media servers for different applications, from pocket-size Watchpax 20, slim Watchpax 4, to Watchmax 4U rack-servers.
This new series is portable and practical for users on tour, in the studio and the largest venues.
